The Role: The Logistics & Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the storage and transportation of the company’s inventory from the warehouse. Handle all aspects of shipping and delivery between the company’s other warehouses and to customers and ensure internal and external customer satisfaction by staying in contact and relaying all communications concerning the delivery. Assist to store and manage products in an efficient manner and get them out the door quickly. Liase and communicate with transport providers and customer service to ensure orders are packed and ready as per the confirmed ship dates Oversee transportation from one location or place to the other location or customer. Coordinate all daily domestic, imports and exports freight. Administer all deliveries out and receiving goods in. Proactively review international & domestic costing and freight pricing. Liaise with customer service, hauliers, warehouse and freight forwarders to ensure deliveries are made on time and exceed stakeholder expectations. Inventory management of all internal stock transfers between all facilities. Prepare and issues appropriate internal & external documentation. Maintain monthly reports and reconciling freight registers with supplier invoices. Manage the hire and dehire of Chep box assets register. Assist the finance team with all necessary international paperwork and invoicing. We are looking for candidates who have: Previous experience in shipping or logistics coordination environment. Working knowledge of freight documentation policy and procedures. Computer literacy: Word, Excel, Outlook & ERP systems. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationship within a team. Strong customer service focus and attitude. Excellent in dealing with customers, suppliers and other team members.
