We service customers across all states to deliver their pet needs straight to their door We are currently hiring for a professional and reliable Forklift Driver to join our team at our Eastern Creek fulfilment centre. As a Forklift Driver your role is critical to the success of our business where you will be challenged daily to improve areas of safety, efficiency, performance, culture and customer experience. The opportunity As a Forklift Driver within our fulfilment centre, safety is the number one priority at all times. You will be expected to operate all machinery safely and accurately to put away stock and replenish pick faces to facilitate orders being dispatched to customers on time. You may also be required to load and unload trucks and containers as needed whereby you will adhere to our strict CoR principles and work on ad hoc tasks across the site as needed by the leadership team. We are looking for someone who can commit to a PM Shift (3pm to 11pm) from Monday to Friday. What you'll be doing… Leading by example ensuring all Work Health Safety (WHS) standards are the highest priority and any hazards/incidents are reported correctly in our Safety Culture system and are escalated in an appropriate manner. Operating our High Reach and Counterbalance Crown Forklift to ensure all pallet moves and transfers are completed accurately. Keeping accurate track of all stock movements and ensuring Stock Controller is updated in real time in order to process stock movement. Unloading supplier trucks and placing pallets safely onto the receiving dock. Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in stock cycling; cycling oldest stock first, accurately labelling bulk pallets, and replenishing shelves with stock accurately. Keeping equipment operating by following correct and safe operating instructions. Ensuring all pallet moves are completed safely with pallets and stock being secured and able to remain safely in position after each pallet move is completed. About you… You will be an experienced Forklift Operator ideally having previously used Crown High Reach machines within a warehouse environment. A valid LF Forklift Licence is essential - this will be checked and verified before and during the interview process as well as via spot checks during your shifts. You will never compromise on Safety. You must be safety focused with knowledge of WHS policies and procedures. You will be physically fit and have the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25kgs) with the correct technique and perform manual tasks for extended periods. You will be proficient in the use of warehouse equipment including RF Scanners, PDAs, iPads etc. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
