Advertised Vacancy Number: IPS/TCH884221 This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 2, 2024 Leeming Senior High School (SHS) is seeking to appoint a dedicated and committed Dance Teacher to join their incredible team. The successful applicant will ideally possess excellent curriculum knowledge across years 7-12, and display skills and experience in Dance. Interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to contribute positively to a team environment will be highly regarded. In addition, you will work closely with students and staff to prepare and present performances across the school year. The successful applicant will ideally possess the professional knowledge, understandings and experience to develop and implement an engaging and relevant secondary school Arts curriculum and an ability to teach across learning areas is desirable. As an expert practitioner you should have a commitment to excellence in teaching and engage in regular self-reflection. The successful applicant will develop a supportive and positive classroom environment, have proven skills in behaviour management and evidence-based pedagogy. They should ideally have a commitment to inclusive education and a strategic approach in planning for improved student outcomes that aligns with our pedagogical framework of Visible Learning.
