About the role: Our Supported Independent Living (SIL) service provides quality care and services to NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) participants. As a Residential Disability Support Partner of this service, you will be responsible for providing effective, flexible, and high-quality care to the residents. You will be working in a residential setting for individuals that may have complex needs in accordance with their personal support plans. We have a range of shifts available, including sleep over shifts. Duties: Working with a person-centred approach, promoting choice, wellbeing, and health of the residents. Ensuring the effective implantation of person-centred plans. Interacting positively and appropriately with residents, their families, and stakeholders. Giving timely and adequate advice to the Team Leader in regard to allocation of resources and reporting incidents. Providing personal care, assist in daily needs and more. Participating as a member of a team and contribute to positive teamwork, meeting engagement and more. Requirements: Experience or willingness to work with vulnerable people. First Aid Certification. NSW Driver’s Licence. Working with Children Check. NDIS check. An understanding of NDIS, Disability Service Standards and relevant legislation.
