Essential requirements for this role include: At least 6 months paid experience as a disability support worker, AIN or similar. Minimum Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support An understanding of restrictive practice Experience administering medication Experience providing personal care Proven ability to work as a part of a close-knit team Excellent verbal and written skills Desirable Experience / Training Experience driving a people mover/minibus Training and experience in PEG feeding Manual Handling Training Therapeutic Crisis Intervention / Behaviour Management Training Mandatory Checks and licenses NDIS Worker Check Working With Children Check National Criminal History check Full NSW Drivers License Two professional references Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or unrestricted visa holder.
