About the opportunity Reporting to the Executive Manager Property Development and Planning, the Interior Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualise and execute interior design solutions that will deliver exceptional experiences for guests amidst stunning natural surroundings. The Interior Designer will have the chance to work on various types of accommodation, including cabins, tiny homes, and glamping tents, and other areas within the parks such as amenities and reception areas. Key duties will include: Conceptualise and develop interior design schemes that align with the overall vison and branding of the parks, including the development and implementation of a comprehensive style guide that can be utilised across the organisation as a reference point Create detailed design plans, including layout drawings, material selections, and mood boards to communicate design concepts effectively Collaborate with relevant departments to source and procure furnishings, décor, and materials that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of each space Conduct site visits and inspections as required to assess design feasibility, address any issues and ensure compliance with design standards Stay abreast of industry trends, innovative design techniques and sustainability advancements to continually enhance guest experience and deliver a world class experience About you We are seeking a passionate and creative interior designer with meticulous attention to detail and a collaborative spirit. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining a commitment to excellence. Additional experience and qualities we are seeking include: 5 years of relevant interior design experience, ideally in hospitality or accommodation Strong understanding of spatial planning, colour theory and materials selection Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellence in design Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to travel occasionally to various park locations as needed How to apply To learn more about key responsibilities, company culture and associated benefits of this opportunity, please contact Chelsea Farrar o n02 4927 2 for a confidential discussion.
