About the client: Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking a Disability Support Coordinator to join their busy team for a 12 month temporary assignment. About the role: As Disability Support Coordinator, you will analyze customer records using a range of policies, practice guidance and legislation to make funding decisions to help reduce their overspending. In addition, you will:Work with customers and providers via telephone communication, to identify current circumstances and spending patternsHigh quality record keeping, including competency with IT systems, adhering to process guidelines and SOPsResearch and review decisions and manage moderately complex casesCompleting administrative and data entry tasksContributing to the achievement of key performance indicators, including planning targets About you: The successful candidate will have:Previous experience in a data analysis and/or budget management role within the Government, Disability, or Healthcare spaceAbility to manage multiple records or data at onceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCritical thinking and problem solving skillsHigh level organizational and time management skillsIntermediate to advanced IT skills Benefits:Immediate start pending Federal Police Check12 month Temporary Assignment Full time hours, Monday to FridayTownsville location $43.82 per hour super Please note the successful candidate for this role will hold Australian Citizenship and must be willing to complete a Federal Police Check At Chandler Macleod, we are committed to fostering a diverse workforce where everyone is welcome.
