Michael Page are recruiting a Construction Supervisor for a leading construction, shop fitting and joinery company based on the west side of Brisbane. As the company continues to grow they are looking for a Construction Supervisor to lead their team of Site Installers and work closely with the Project Management team to ensure projects are delivered on time, budget and to quality standards required. Client Details Our client is a highly regarded Construction, shop fitting and joinery business based on the west side of Brisbane. Having been in business for over 40 years, they have built a strong and loyal customer base and a reputation for quality projects. Areas they specialise in include retail, health and commercial sectors. This role would suit an experienced trades-person who is looking to move off the tools and towards a management position. Description Key responsibilities will include: Supervising and managing a team of 8 tradespeople/site installers Working closely with the Project Management team to ensure projects are delivered on time, budget and to quality expectations Project scheduling and personnel work load management Utilising construction software to ensure documentation is completed Profile Selection criteria will include: Trade qualifications in shop fitting, carpentry or joinery Previous experience within the commercial fit out, shop fitting or joinery sector Good level of computer literacy Excellent interpersonal skills Job Offer On offer: A long term role, with ongoing training and support An opportunity to transition away from the tools and into a management position A competitive base salary, expected to be in the range of $100-120k super An immediate start is available To apply online please click the 'Apply' button above.
