For more than 165 years we have been providing practical and compassionate support to people across Victoria whose daily struggles can include putting food on the table, paying essential utilities and ensuring their children remain at school to obtain an education. Under our Good Works umbrella we have many services and programs, including soup vans, education programs, home visitation programs and Vincent Care Victoria (VCV ), which assists some of Victoria’s most vulnerable communities, such as people experiencing homelessness, the housing crisis and family violence, and the elderly. About the role In this role, you'll efficiently manage vendors, serve as the primary contact for various inquiries, and spearhead the rollout of new systems and software. You will also get the opportunity to make a tangible impact by collaborating closely with the ICT Manager to contribute to the selection of solutions aligned with the ICT strategic plan of the society. Flexible working hours, including some weeknights & weekends may be required. Regular travel to various locations across the State will be required. You will be responsible for: Acting as the first point of contact for technical enquiries. Installing and configuring computer systems upon job request. Leading the rollout of new ICT equipment (laptops, desktops, phones) on an ongoing basis. Enrolling mobile devices to MDM. Updating and creating ICT knowledgebase and How-to guides. Support IT asset development, delivery, and monitoring, aid in ICT service delivery, and assist ICT Manager in hardware and solution selection aligned with strategic plan. Utilizing the SVDP Helpdesk for any tasks, projects and issues in line with SLI’s and provide reports of the status of the jobs. Ideally you will have: Experience with building computers using SCCM, WDS or other market solutions. Experience in supporting ICT infrastructure. Experience with SharePoint and Intune. Experience with IT systems and application implementations that support key business requirements. Experience with creating IT Documentation. Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems - Windows 10 and 11. Current Drivers Licence. Ability to work constructively and productively in a small team environment supported by vendors in an outsourced environment. Tertiary Degree in one or more of the following fields: Information Technology / Computing, or Information Management (desirable). Why work for us?
