About the role Welcome to Orica Digital Solutions where we aim to optimise the georesources industries with a focus on delivering the highest quality geophysical data safely and efficiently. Established in 1997, we provide geophysical data acquired on wireline(traditional), by the driller, and also while drilling. We are looking for FIFO Wireline Logging Operators/Engineers to provide logging services to our clients in the mining industry. The role will be in a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off roster located in our beautiful officer in Perth, WA. Our Geophysics While Drilling service is industry leading, leveraging advanced mechanical design and sensor technology and IoT frameworks to make data available in real time. The team is predominantly based in Perth, with our equipment utilised around the world. What you will be doing Provides an interface with the client at the wellsite; Responsible for preparation and dispatching of wireline and equipment; Manages and is responsible for wellsite operations to ensure delivery of quality service, compliance with environmental and safety requirements; Responsible for maintenance, calibrations and upkeep of assigned equipment; Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor. What you will bring Reside in Australia and have full working rights, with no travel restrictions within Australia; Hold a manual C driver's licence; Motivated, positive and professional attitude; Competent computer skills and ability to learn new software; Must be able to work well individually and as part of a team; Can work under pressure, learns quickly, and adapts to new problems and situations; Ability to obtain a Police Check (National police Certificate) HR/LR licence (advantageous); Valid WA radiation licence (advantageous).
