About the Role: As Senior (Cost) Trend Engineer, you will influence, drive and coach the team in effective change management at all stages of delivery. Your responsibilities will include: Direct change management and annual project forecast update activities, developing, interpreting, and executing policy, objectives, and standards applicable to trend/change management activities. Participate in the development and change management related training of assigned personnel and the implementation of on-the-job and classroom training programs. Provide leadership in terms of integrating the change management process with other key project procedures (e.g., Risk Management, Forecasting, Cost, Trends, and Claims) and support corporate, Global Business Unit, commercial group, and functional stakeholders in managing change related activities as required. Prepare, coordinate, and direct change management related presentations to Bechtel and client management, as required. Leads Change Control meetings. Provide leadership and guidance for the analysis of specially assigned change related initiatives or work planning requiring detailed change assessment, forecasting and response planning efforts. What You Bring: Degree plus demonstrated progressive experience or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or equivalent plus extensive, progressive, relevant work experience. Project Controls experience on large EPC/EPCM projects. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence. Demonstrated capability to interface with commercial and technical functions to effect baseline change management. Demonstrated experience in delivery, communication, and training of change management processes and procedures and full exposure to project business case scrutiny processes and project controls practices (e.g., baseline trending). Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, which includes verification of education. Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.
