Our opportunity As Solution Engineer, Finance Platform you will contribute to making Mirvac's finance platform accessible, reusable, secure and modern so that it better enables products and outcomes and ensures the integrity of Mirvac's financial systems and data. Your responsibilities are: Contribute to the delivery of user stories through solution engineering focusing on reusability across products and outcomes Conducting analysis of solution requirements of both simple and complex work packages in accordance with agreed standards Developing solution designs, coding and testing for specific work packages in accordance with agreed standards Engineering solutions that minimise technical debt and maximise release velocity. Contribute to promoting and maintaining Mirvac's coding and design standards Performance of technical tasks, including unit test functions, to support internal quality control outcomes in accordance with agreed standards Active participation in user story refinement to sufficiently shape story outcomes and size Proactively voice blockers and barriers to progress or completion of user stories early Active participation in sprint reviews to showcase what's been achieved in the sprint Active participation in the sprint retrospective to enhance team velocity Collaboration with product teams, platform teams and business stakeholders Identify platform enhancements that will improve the user experience and enable a more accessible, stable, secure and supportable platform; Your point of difference To be successful you will have relevant tertiary level qualifications, property industry knowledge, with the ability to balance project and escalated support tasks. You will hold strong attention to detail relating to quality / robust nature of code and best development practices as well as have moderate experience in digital/technology roles and Yardi Voyager. Finally, you will have the ability to think strategically, have previous experience implementing new finance applications and hold exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
