We are on the lookout for an experienced Network Engineer to join one of Australia's largest corporate networks. About the role As a Coles Network Engineer, you will be providing day to day operational support to the business. You will resolve third level faults supporting predominantly Cisco products. You will take pride in problem solving while delighting the customer. This position is Melbourne based. In providing Network support, you'll be working closely with third parties and field engineers. You will be supporting our team members across our stores, distribution centres, data centres and end user peers. We'll look to you to: Support the Coles network environment Fail Fix Support of network routing, switching, load balancing, Wireless and Voice Adds Moves Changes (AMC) of enterprise DHCP, DNS, Network Device Inventory VLAN Configuration and implementation of network devices/services Engage effectively with Carrier & Vendor technicians Adhere to Coles Change and Security policies On-call Rostered Support Out of hours change and incident About you and your skills To be successful, you'll have: Cisco CCNA or similar work experience, Network Operations Centre (NOC) Cisco technologies; Data Centre Switching, ACI , SDA WAN, LAN, WIFI, Voice Emerging technologies SDWAN WAN LAN WIFI Voice (Meraki, Cradlepoint) Knowledge of Application Delivery Control - Load balancing In depth understanding of network concepts (LAN/WAN/routing/switching) Practical experience of DNS and DHCP technology changes Demonstrable technical end user service restoration skills The self-motivation, reliability, and proven ability to work as part of a technical team Adhering to high level Security principles NETOPS would be advantages with associated programming skills Knowledge of Network Support tools; packet tracing, network monitoring tools LI-DIG3 Take your next step into something bigger, apply now With us it's not about the discounts (although you do get those), it's about joining a team where your wellbeing and professional development is invested in and celebrating your contributions is the norm.
