About the Role: WorkPac are currently seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer based in Perth to commence work as soon as possible. This position will hold a Monday to Friday roster, 12 months in duration withÂcompetitive rates available for the successful applicant. This role is a great opportunity for a Senior Engineer with significant previous experience in the resources sector, who wants to work on interesting and challenging Control Systems Projects with a team of highly skilled Engineers. Key Responsibilities will include: Lead a Team of Engineers in successful delivery of Control System Projects. Mentor and motivate the Team to ensure the successful outcome, whilst providing a suitable work environment to allow for technical and personal growth. Write technical reports, providing supporting evidence using data analysis techniques. Provide technical details and cost estimates for future capital Projects, ensuring a sound methodology to the inputs to ensure outcomes are achievable. Skills & Experience Required: Relevant bachelorâs degree qualification in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Development or a related discipline OR previous experience working as a Control Systems Engineer or related role. Enthusiastic team player, capable of working in a team environment and proactively engages with stakeholders. Strong communication skills, with an ability to understand business objectives and a willingness to share diverse perspectives. Experience with PLC programming and HMI design in any industry. Previous experience working on projects in an industrial setting. Knowledge of high-level programming languages. Experience with SQL databases.
