Opportunity with CMW Geoscience We are currently looking to expand our Tailings team in Perth and are looking for an experienced Engineer. As a Senior Principal or Principal Geotechnical Engineer you will be required to work closely with and mentor a team of engineers by delivering design solutions, providing advice and technical support. You will be required to develop long lasting relationships with clients, specialist contractors, other consultants and suppliers throughout Western Australia and beyond. You must lead by example and undertake design and reporting of geotechnical projects with the support of other CMW personnel when required. Some of your other duties will include: Monitor project progress against budget to ensure cost overruns are avoided Prepare for and undertake fieldwork including derivation of ground models Prepare proposals, technical documents and other correspondence Ensure the timely delivery of technical output Maintain high technical standards and professional work ethic Identify and communicate any risks to project managers and assist with Undertake any other duties CMW may reasonably require you to perform. To be eligible we are looking for the following: Qualified Civil/Geotechnical Engineer or similar with 15 years of experience in working in a consulting engineering environment Experience in analysis and design in areas of slope risk assessment, ground improvement, tailings and mine closure, and associated technical areas Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects at one time Ideally you will be charted or working towards it Good interpersonal skills Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail is a must Interested in applying?
