About the role Reporting to the Superintendent Operations, you will be responsible for project managing mine capital projects including raiseboring, material handling infrastructure, mine services and ventilation upgrades. You will also contribute towards mine extension feasibility studies and continuous improvement initiatives to maximise efficiency and value. Key responsibilities include: Project management of mine projects across the span of scoping, design, budgeting, planning, procurement/contracts, scheduling and execution. Facilitating workshops to generate value-add initiatives and drive workforce engagement Introducing effective ways to utilise data and transform performance Tracking project progress and value delivery 8/6 roster, FIFO from Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville, DIDO from Mt Isa with a travel allowance or live residential in Cloncurry with a local living allowance Eligible for a quarterly safe production bonus Company share ownership plan, complimentary life insurance and income protection and future opportunities to work interstate or overseas About you You will possess a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related discipline with a number of years experience working in an underground metalliferous mining operation. Demonstrated project management and stakeholder engagement skills are essential. Exposure to improvement programs would be advantageous.
