Job Posting End Date March 22, 2024 Job Location Sydney Olympic Park Tier 1 Construction & Water Utilities contractor Permanent role with career progression Long term capital works and maintenance programs in Sydney west The Opportunity We are currently seeking experienced Project Engineers (Mechanical) within the water or utilities sector, to commence employment ASAP. The West Region Delivery Team is a consortium of five Joint Venture delivery partners working in partnership with Sydney Water. Over a 10 year period, we operate as a collaborative integrated team to deliver design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services across the western Sydney metropolitan area. You will have the ability to build strong relationships and networks with key stakeholders whilst working collaboratively across a diverse and complex environment. You will be resilient, adaptable and someone who is comfortable making decisions and taking the initiative. You will be responsible for; Working with site supervision, self-perform employees and subcontractors to complete complex Mechanical and or Civil projects in line with established processes and high standards Manage the ITP's, assist with the SWM's process Effective Cost monitoring - Initiating and executing work to minimize cost ensuring they are in line with the forecasted revenue Preparing, monitoring and updating production plans and working to weekly and monthly programs Leading and overseeing practical completion documentation The role requires strong influencing skills, innovation and resilience. What you will need Degree level qualification in Engineering (Mechanical) Preferably hands on experience in Water utilities sectors with exposure to WWTPs and/or Networks, and associated Mechanical and Civil infrastructure Preferably experience in delivering large brownfield projects in water or utilities (power/gas) sector.
