The Site Reliability team within Cartology supporting the logging, monitoring and deployment of applications with the cloud and on-premise network of devices. This is a sysadmin-focused Site Reliability Engineering role, offering room for software engineering involvement. What you’ll do Help to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot a network of 10,000 distributed devices (Digital Media Players, Routers, and Screens) Automate and optimise device fleet management processes Develop internal tools and documentation to enhance team efficiency Support of Kubernetes and Google Cloud platform environments in collaboration with the team What you’ll bring Strong Linux (Ubuntu preferred) skills - systemd, networking, xrand/display configuration Extensive experience with Monitoring tools such as Prometheus and OTEL Collectors Strong familiarity with configuration management tools like Salt Project, Chef or Puppet Knowledge of at least one SaaS Monitoring and Observability platform, like Datadog, Splunk/SignalFX or Dynatrace Software engineering skills in Golang, Python, or Node Solid working knowledge of Linux utilities and scripting - bash, etc Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code Endless possibilities with Woolworths Group We’re a proud part of the Woolworths Group – 200,000 bright minds, passionate hearts and unique perspectives working together connected by a shared Purpose – ‘to create better experiences together for a better tomorrow.’ Here you’ll be supported and empowered to explore new ideas, make brave commitments and innovate better ways to meet the food and everyday needs of more than 24 million customers every week.
