Exciting opportunity to work on a major Power Transmission substation and BESS project Energised Talent Solutions is partnered with a leading player in the Australian power market, with projects and expertise across both the Power Transmission and renewable energy sectors across Australia. With continued growth and project success, they are now looking to hire a Civil Project engineer on a full-time basis commencing end of March 2024. This position will initially commence in their head office in Sydney and will then transition out to being on site in Victoria. As the successful applicant, you will be an experienced Civil project engineer with expertise working with High voltage. This experience ideally will be across Transmission substation or renewable energy projects, but we would also consider people with HV expertise from infrastructure related projects. You will be expected to work closely with the Senior Project manager and under their direction, take responsibility for the following: Preparing Safe Work Method Statements. Assist in preparing the Project Management Plans. Under direction ensuring that documented procedures are established to control significant environmental aspects identified for the project. Assisting with environmental requirements for the project are identified and made available to the Site Manager e.g. development consent conditions, EIS and environmental factors arising from the planning process. Assisting with compliance with WHS, Environmental, workplace injury management and workers compensation legislation, regulations, standards, and codes. Use appropriate company technology and management practices for quality, safety, and environmental management. Identifying and developing ITPs required for the project. Verifying conformance prior to accepting completed works, liaising with client as necessary. Planning, maintaining, and monitoring construction programs and completion of activities involved in Project/s, and communicating on same with relevant stakeholders.
