Your new role: The role of the Senior AI Engineer within the Technology Services division is poised to spearhead this transformative journey. This role is pivotal in leading the development and execution of cutting-edge AI solutions, meticulously aligning them with AustralianSuper's strategic business and technological visions. It demands a role that encompasses not just technical expertise but a deep commitment to AI governance and ethical frameworks. Key duties include but are not limited to: Actively involved in the design and implementation of scalable and robust AI solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to AI and data science teams. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in AI. Collaborate with various departments to integrate AI solutions into business processes. Work closely with Technology services teams including Architecture, Innovation, Data and Infrastructure to ensure seamless deployment of AI solutions. Uphold and advocate for ethical AI practices. Ensure AI solutions comply with relevant regulations and company standards. Manage AI projects, overseeing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Deliver presentations and updates to stakeholders on AI initiatives. Lead research and experimentation on new AI methodologies and tools. Continuously improve existing AI systems for enhanced performance and efficiency. What you'll need: 10 years' experience in designing and building advanced AI solutions at an enterprise scale. Advanced Degree in Computer Science or related area or equivalent industry experience. Experience working in complex enterprise Data Environments. Proven Engineering experience in Python, Spark, SQL and related languages. High levels of initiative with the ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities. Knowledge of common AI development, automation, and Machine Learning tools. DevOps experience inclusive of creating CI/CD/CT pipelines for data engineering and analytics using Azure Devops. Experience in one or more of the following public Data cloud platforms, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Google Cloud, with preference for Azure Cloud Synapse and ADF, ADB. Experience in building or training AI/ML models through supervised/unsupervised learning methods. Database administration and management experience including but not limited to Microsoft SQL technologies.
