What you'll be doing The Executive Assistant (EA) provides organisational and administrative support to the Clinical Directors and Manager of the Clinical Stream and at times assists with other secretarial and administrative duties within the Clinical Stream Office. This position is required to develop and maintain effective office systems and procedures and ensure high professional standards. The position will provide administrative support for projects and services of the Clinical Stream and high level secretarial support for District wide Executive level committees.  Where you'll be working Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, providing services to the local government area of Liverpool City Council as well as district services to residents and visitors in the area. It also provides a range of state-wide services in areas such as critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care and brain injury rehabilitation. The Hospital provides a health service of international standing, with 23 operating theatres, capacity for 877 beds, diagnostic and imaging services, emergency and trauma care, maternity, paediatric, cancer care, mental health, ambulatory care, allied health and medical and surgical services from birth to aged care. Liverpool Hospital is currently undergoing a major redevelopment. The $790 million Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct (LHAP) project will provide enhanced facilities and an increased capacity to meet future significant population growth for South Western Sydney. Liverpool Hospital is a principal referral and teaching Hospital of the University of NSW and the Western Sydney University and also welcome students from over 20 universities and colleges. Located in the heart of Liverpool City, the hospital is close to public transport, shopping centres and eateries. Excellent organisational skills, ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision and prioritise work commitments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Demonstrated experience in the review, development, implementation and maintenance of administrative processes. Demonstrated ability in preparing high-level written correspondence, including letters, briefs, ministerials and reports. Demonstrated competency in the use of Microsoft Office products, with an emphasis on high level work processing, spreadsheet and database applications. Demonstrated ability to work within a team, independently and with minimal supervision. Demonstrated initiative, analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to source, coordinate and collate information. Demonstrated experience in providing secretarial and administrative support at an executive level.
