About the team Our cross-functional teams include Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers focused on delivering solutions and solving problems rather than simply completing tickets. The structure is flat, and the process is lean, with a culture of MVP, iteration, and "build, measure, learn" at the heart of everything we do. We share in-depth experience in Node/Typescript, React, PostgreSQL, AWS SQS, SNS, S3 Lambda, and more. What you'll do You'll be responsible for building the future of cruises at Luxury Escapes. To do this, you will collaborate with our internal product and commercial teams to build a vision and then lead the team of engineers to implement it. We've recently rebuilt our cruise platform from the ground up and now our goal is to expand and add great value for our customers. Cruise is a highly complex domain, the team is working on some interesting challenges, including: Highly performant cruise search that can search thousands of cruises by destinations, cruise line, departure months, price etc. (OpenSearch, GeoJSON, PostGis, Redis). Ingesting 10k sailings every day from all over the world and automatically curating cruise offers for our customers. Enhancing our booking flow with the best-in-class UX.
