Job tasks and responsibilities Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, the Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining contact with current customers, identifying new opportunities and following up potential leads sourced through industry research and direct contact. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with the management team in developing marketing materials and innovative ideas to increase brand presence and awareness in the region. Finally you will develop sales reports for senior management and assist in managing tender submissions. Skills and experience As a highly motivated and consultative Sales Representative, Business Development Specialist or Account Manager, you will have had proven success in winning new business and developing existing clients to meet or exceed your team's sales budgets. Ideally you will have worked in a company or a dealership network that sells or hires out mechanical or electrical equipment used for industrial, energy, mining, manufacturing or power generation applications. A degree or trade qualification in the business, mechanical or electrical fields would be well regarded but more importantly you will be respected as a dynamic and highly driven sales professional who enjoys solving customer's problems.
