Company Description Located in the Heart of NSWs most exciting entertainment precinct - and home to Accor Stadium - fantastic career and development opportunities, access to wellness benefits, hotel discounts, and more await the successful candidate, Reporting to the Conference & Events Sales Manager, the Precinct Sales & Events Executive is responsible for driving sales and contracting revenue for conference and events to achieve set sales targets. The role includes, but is not limited to; Providing detailed conference and events proposals covering venue, function, menu and accomodation costs utilising various sales techniques to maximise revenue Coordinate and host familiarisation and site inspection activity including follow-up Prepare and deliver event handover to Operations teams and ensure accuracy of information and effectively communicate handover to clients Drive sales to ensure conversion targets are achieved and monitor success on a monthly basis Ensure success in deliverng customer events in order to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business Maintain existing customer base to ensure the business is retained by building and developing key relationships Develop and implement a plan to follow up on prospective business Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience within the Conference & Events sector with exposure to reactive/proactive sales An understanding of the Hotel's property management system an advantage along with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work ocassional weekends as required by client or organisation Confident & articulate commuication, negotiation, relationship and networking skills Excellent time management skills with the ablity multitask Previous experience in reactive and/or proactive sales within the Hospitality industry Previous experience and/or in-depth knowledge of the conference and events market Exceptional communication skills, flexibility and able to embrace and respond effectively to change Additional Information Collabroate with a team of energetic guest obsessed professionals, sharing vision, ambition and drive Access to AccorHotels Learning & Development platform Hotel discounts and worldwide benefits Complimentary tea/barista coffee discounted lunches
