Senior Administrative Officer Provide senior administrative support to the University’s Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) Level 7, full-time/ongoing basis Base salary range: $95,737 – $106,223 p.a. About the team The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) (DVCR) is responsible for supporting and enhancing the University’s research. You will work directly alongside the Deputy Vice- Chancellor (Research) and the Executive Officer to manage the Research Portfolio’s day-to-day business, including, but not limited to: human resources, financial and contractual requirements; diary and meeting support to the DVCR; assisting with major events, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and assisting with stakeholder enquiries. This role also works closely with the broader team in the Research Executive and Office of Research in a collegiate and positive environment. About the opportunity As the appointee you will, provide senior administrative, strategic planning and executive support and direction to the area. You will respond to complex and diverse enquiries using expertise and judgement to independently analyse and solve problems, provide informed advice and a focus on continuous improvement for the area. To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate: Tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency Substantial relevant experience at an appropriate level. Highly developed organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines. Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email. Commitment to providing a high level of quality customer service.
