The key duties of the position include The Role Force Integration Division (FID) is seeking an Administration Officer (AO) to support and manage the office for the Director General (DG), Executive Officer (XO) and broader Branch. You will be responsible for timely and efficient administration, while exercising a high degree of communication, discretion and confidentiality. Duties are: Manage document workflow, Branch inbox, DG diary, coordinate information and draft correspondence; Organise and manage meetings and forums, including liaison with stakeholders and other government agencies; Work with Divisional Business Team to manage correspondence within expected deadlines; Act as the Branch Unit Security Officer (USO); Work with Division and Branch EAs to develop and streamline process to improve efficiency and outcomes; Support procurement activities and financial management; Manage record keeping in accordance with departmental policy; Coordinate and track tasks, correspondence and Parliamentary briefings, Manage the Branch leave calendar, org chart, phone list About our Team FID is responsible for managing the program framework for Defence.
