The Role: Due to growth within the business, we are currently seeking a Sales Representative and Admin Officer to join the Benedict Recycling Team, reporting to the Newcastle Business Manager. The Sales Representative and Admin Officer will play an integral part in identifying, targeting, and securing new business opportunities & volume across the Newcastle, Central Coast & Hunter Valley Regions, in establishing and maintaining new accounts, while supporting the Business Manager with waste and sales administration. An enthusiasm to learn new sales and waste admin systems is also needed. You will be based at the Newcastle Recycling Facility and will be required to undertake regular site visits across our region. A fully maintained company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop will be provided to the suitable applicant. No minimum industry experience required; however previous sales and administration is desired. Key responsibilities: Primarily focused on sales and supporting the Business Manager in generating new Mixed Demolition and construction waste business across the Greater Newcastle region and from the Hawkesbury River to the Mid North Coast and extending up the Hunter Valley to Muswellbrook and surrounds. Readiness to perform regular, existing customer visits, cold calls, and site consultations. Daily Sales administrative duties, including CRM utilisation and waste administration, with training provided, where needed. Familiarity with Sales Force or similar systems preferred. Work proactively and collaboratively to identify opportunities, target, and secure new business for our Newcastle recycling site, whilst working within company policies and procedures. Identify and prospect potential clients, build and maintain strong relations with new and returning customers. Foster long term customer relationships through customer contact and strict attention to detail regarding customer quoting and reporting. Coordinate and manage support for a diverse customer portfolio. Contribute to the planning and coordination of all tender proposals as and when required by the Newcastle Business Manager. Complete all required paperwork and weighbridge information. Processing Sales Orders To excel here, you should possess: A positive, tenacious, can-do attitude.
