ABOUT THE ROLE This position works in collaboration with academic and professional colleagues to provide effective and efficient administrative support for the School of Nursing & Midwifery. This position will report to the Administration Lead, working with general direction, and will oversee the administration function within the School.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide effective and efficient administrative support and assist the Administration Lead in supervising the administrative function within the School. Supervising and mentoring a team of 3 to 4 Administrative officers. Provide administrative support to the School including arranging events, regular and adhoc meetings, teaching program support, managing and supporting the School (minutes, agenda papers and scheduling), supporting staffing-related activities and room and facility bookingsAssisting the Head of School and/or their delegate with the management and review of policies, procedures, guidelines and formsUtilising the Universities software to coordinate and collaborate with the Head of School and Academic Employees ensuring efficient timetabling and scheduling for the teaching functionABOUT YOU Team management experience is essential Administrative experience, preferably within an education and Health care environment will be highly regardedHighly developed communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, engage and influence stakeholdersExcellent operational, organisational and administration skills including the ability to manage multiple competing prioritiesHigh level of competency in various software packages including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio) coupled with timetabling programs would be an advantageProven record of preparing high quality documentation with excellent accuracy and attention to detailSupportive of the Objects of Notre Dame as a Catholic University.
