The key duties of the position include The Support Officer, ICT Finance Administration plays an important role to provide support to the ICT Service Management Section. In this role you will work closely with the Team Leader, ICT Finance Administration to provide professional finance, vendor and procurement advice and assist in the financial management of multiple ICT contracts and suppliers within a Service Integration and Management (SIAM) model. Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships are essential. You will interpret and provide advice within the ICT Service Management Team based on legislation, policy and procedures. You organise your workflow and make independent decisions relating to your area of responsibility, have an eye for detail and focus on identifying improvement opportunities to streamline processes and services to reduce resource effort and improve on business outcomes. In this role you will: Work as part of a team, contributing to achieve team goals. Be responsive to and ensure the resolution of customer and vendor enquiries and requests. Interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders. Manage a shared mailbox for the ICT Service Management team. Provide administration support services to the ICT Services Management team. Assist the Team Leader, Finance and Procurement to undertake quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of information related to: reviewing quotes coordinating the execution of maintenance renewals and work orders entering contracts and generating Purchase Orders in the Financial Management and Information System certifying and processing invoices for payment assist in budget formulation, financial reporting including end-of-month accruals and budget forecasting Undertake minor ICT procurement activities. Prepare correspondence, reports, and internal communication content as required. To be successful in the role you will: Be self-motivated, cooperative and resourceful. Required skills, knowledge, experience and/or qualifications Excellent communication and consultation skills. Experience working as part of a professional team in a dynamic, customer centred environment. Sound understanding of Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 and Commonwealth Procurement Rules. Are you unsure about applying?
