Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join our team permanently in our Perth office. You will have a demonstrated track record of applying technical expertise in the development of creative and sustainable electrical engineering designs and deliverables across studies and projects. About the role Contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies. Assist in preparing technical reports related to specific design issues. Support in delivering best practice technical solutions in accordance with project scope, timeframes, and standards. Aid in the equipment procurement packages, designs, calculations and cost estimates for conventional engineering, research, and development assignments. Familiar with standard discipline deliverables and work process on projects. Demonstrate initiative and basic leadership skills to give direction within a small work group. Develop networks and relationships within teams, across the organisation and with clients. Assist with the preparation of proposals and tenders (such as estimating design hours). About you Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering. Proven experience in a similar role Experience working in engineering consulting or EPC/EPCM in the mining and resources sectors. Design experience using ETAP, SKM Power Tools or Hexagon Smartplant. Sound understanding of current codes and standards including Australian and IEC/IEEE PEng or willing to work towards accreditation. Willingness to travel is highly desirable. Why Ausenco?
