The Company Our client is an established agribusiness leader with a long history of working with retail distribution by providing products critical to broadacre, horticulture and pasture production. Due to an internal promotion, they are now seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead a high performing team. The Role The Regional Sales Manager will manage an established team and guide them in maximising sales and profitability with customers. A strong focus on relationship management and strong technical support with distributors, existing and potential customers across the region will be key management themes externally. Internally, the role will focus on the leadership and development of the existing sales team and ensuring commercial activities across sales, marketing and supply chain are synergised to maximise commercial outcomes. The Person To be successful in this leadership position, you will possess the following experience, skills and key attributes: Strong agribusiness background, ideally with experience in retail distribution, or the fertiliser, ag chem, bulk commodity and seed sectors. At least 5 years operational experience in a sales management role Demonstrated commercial and negotiating skills. Total commitment to customer service and innovation. Approach work with passion and integrity. Ability to impart knowledge and strategic insight to the team. Efficiently implement and oversee a forecast review process within the region, ensuring alignment with company objectives and achieving high forecast accuracy. Relevant tertiary qualifications in agriculture or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
