Scope of Role The role involves managing ANZ sales management and sales strategy. Position Purpose Lead the development of the ANZ sales strategy. Coach and lead sales management and sales teams to deliver upon the nominated business objectives via detailed strategies and execution plans to meet budgetary targets as set. Lead the alignment across ANZ teams of sales processes, disciplines, customer engagement programs and processes. Effectively lead the business to be the voice of the customer to ensure SEE is well positioned to meet market challenges - sustainability, competition, innovation, service levels, etc. Maximize the business revenue potential across the existing ANZ and potential developing markets. New and adjusted business opportunities as required to meet objectives. Sales Management led Margin Improvement (MI) and pricing initiatives and programs working cross functionally to achieve outcomes, i.e., Supply Chain Logistics, Manufacturing, Digital and Portfolio. Lead the development of strategies to build business relationships via structured value-based outcome driven customer engagement programs, including - joint business plans, continuous improvement strategies, quarterly business reviews linking to business plans, cross functional innovation days, etc. Knowledge & Experience At least 10 years' experience in a key account management and strategy and at least 5 years' experience and demonstrated success in sales management preferably within the Food, FMCG, plastics or general packaging industries. Highly Desired: National Key Account Management, Senior Key Account Management experience. Proven experience with complex tenders and business negotiations. Proven Sales Management or Key Account team management experience. SAP experience (preferably BW, BI). High analytical aptitude. Demonstrated experience in implementing sales strategy. Demonstrated skills with sales processes, key account management processes and disciplines. Demonstrated commercial acumen. People Management & Teamwork A proven track record in managing sales teams with strong leadership and team building experience. Familiarity with working in a large matrix structured organization. Be able to positively influence & coordinate activities of people in support departments. Able to achieve results by working cooperatively across Sealed Air. Knowledge and Experience Continued Customer Focus Proficient in best-in-class Account Management processes. Comfortable and have the appropriate business acumen to deal with management at all levels. Lead and coach sales management and teams in best-in-class Account Management processes. A working knowledge of business finance and reporting. Ability to lead the development of customer negotiation strategies. Working knowledge of the Competition Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Contract Law. A thorough understanding of the SEE contract and approval processes. An understanding of standard costing, variance reporting, margin analysis, and working capital management. Financial & Commercial Acumen Strong analytical skills and an understanding of the levers that lead to the improvement of the business. Outstanding presentation skills. Proven ability to deliver a message clearly and concisely via various media - written or verbal communications. Proficient computer skills to manipulate information and present it in a format to reinforce the message (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). A detailed is available.
