The Fair Entitlements Guarantee (FEG) is a safety net scheme of last resort that provides financial assistance to eligible employees for unpaid employment entitlements when they have lost their job due to the liquidation or bankruptcy of their employer. Claims for FEG assistance are assessed and processed using the eFEG system. Reporting to the Assistant Director of the FEG Program Management Office, you will provide first level IT support for eFEG users, serve as an escalation point for complex queries, manage user access, and ensure all IT policies and procedures are fit for purpose. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for future improvement and contribute to project-related work as required. The key duties of the position include The successful applicant will be responsible for performing the following core duties: Providing professional, reliable, and efficient support to users of the eFEG system; Assisting to diagnose and resolve straight-forward issues with FEG IT applications including: eFEG, the FEG Online Claim Form, and FEG IP Online; Working collaboratively with IT colleagues to resolve more complex system issues; Monitoring user access; Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and training materials; and Identifying and prioritising opportunities to improve system functionality and enhance the user experience.
