Engineering - Software (Information & Communication Technology) Join a leading global tech company as Lead Software Engineer as they rebuild their core application in a modern tech stack. Reporting to the General Manager of Architecture, the Lead Software Engineer will play a key role in solution architecture and design of products, as well as coaching and mentoring engineers/developers as the company rebuild their platform using Next.js, Node.js, Azure and more. Responsibilities: Contribute to software architecture, design, development, maintenance, and test coding/automation activities to implement applications, microservices, APIs and user interfaces. Provide technical guidance and oversight to influence product quality, reliability, useability, security, and performance. Collaborate with Engineering Leads to identify and evaluate technology and process improvements. Support consultants, trainers and other technical personnel during system rollouts, device commissioning, user training and ongoing user support. Hands on fullstack development in Node.js, Next.js and React.js Skills/Requirements: Full Stack Development experience with technologies such as Node.js, Next.js, JavaScript/Typescript, React.js. Experience with public cloud technologies such as (or equivalent to) Azure or AWS. Experience working in a software-as-a-service environment that utilises DevOps and SRE practices.
