S2M are excited to partner with an AI inspired market leader, that are looking to hire a SRE We are looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team and help ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. As an SRE, you will work closely with our development and operations teams to design, build, and maintain our infrastructure on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Additionally, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing our applications, with a focus on Node.js. You will have a particular focus on extending the ML capabilities and will work with the ML Engineering team to take their models into production. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on GCP and AWS. Collaborate with development teams to architect and deploy applications for high availability and performance. Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes using industry-standard tools and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, applications, and performance. Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure timely detection and response to incidents. Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to support future growth and scalability. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in SRE, cloud computing, and development using Node.js, Python, and R. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role. Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), including compute, storage, networking, and security services. Proficiency in Node.js and experience with JavaScript-based frameworks and libraries. Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Google Cloud Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification. Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
