Accounts Receivable Administration Officer Location: Melbourne CBD Vacancy Type: Full-Time position - 12 months fixed term with potential for extension. This role reports to Accounts Receivable manager and supports the finance team. Will be expected to work within a team to ensure deadlines are reached, targets met, provide support and strive to inspire each other. Coordinate and perform the day to day administration of Accounts Receivable duties and assist with team to facilitate their debt collection function, generation of invoices and credit notes, NDIS claims and maintain payment records throughout Yooralla systems. Key Responsibilities Specific Role Responsibilities Reconcile payments received from customers in a timely manner Process charges or claims against relevant government funding bodies and ensure they comply with relevant guidelines Process end of period billing and accruals Support the accounts receivable team with duties when required Assist Accounts Receivable manager to maintain systems used by accounts receivable team which includes improving and streamlining processes Other duties as required by Accounts Receivable manager and/or broader financial management team All employees are responsible for: Promoting and protecting the human rights of people with disability, in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) (2008); Working to ensure high-quality and safe supports and services for NDIS participants, meeting and exceeding the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators; Meeting obligations under all relevant Victorian and Commonwealth legislation.
