Work Health & Safety Administrator Department of Parliamentary Services Ongoing, Full time PoV 2.2 base salary range, $66,063 - $72,985 About the role As a key member of the Work Health & Safety (WHS) unit, your role will involve offering essential administrative support to the team. This includes maintaining systems, managing inboxes, and contributing to the advancement of WHS programs and initiatives. Some key duties include: Triaging and responding to general WHS queries and escalating relevant matters. Assisting in the preparation of WHS reports, guidance documents and policies. Maintaining the WHS intranet pages, including updating content and publishing relevant articles internally. Facilitating Health and Safety Committees by scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and circulating minutes. Working with the Wellbeing Specialist in the delivery of wellbeing initiatives. About you You are dedicated, willing to learn and passionate about driving a positive safety culture. You will bring: Experience in administrative roles with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and manage competing work priorities. Sound communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals. Demonstrated teamwork and flexibility, working with direction as well as using initiative to work autonomously. Competent computer skills including a familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, email, and internet applications. Why join us?
