Your responsibilities might include: All aspects of commercial practices including compliance, contract administration, claims, reporting and financial processes. Your day to day may include: Managing contractual issues associated with subcontractors and/or suppliers and providing advice to the management team on contractual issues Managing subcontract progress payment claims, variations, contractual claims and final accounts in accordance with the terms of subcontracts Managing the submission of progress claims and final accounts, ensuring payments are concluded on time Assisting with the preparation of monthly reports Analysing financial and costs reports, identifying existing or potential variances/trends, providing recommendations as appropriate for agreement with the Project Manager To be successful in this role you will have: Minimum 3 years’ experience in project/contractual engineering/construction. Experience working on utilities projects preferred but not essential. Knowledge of the commercial management, legal and governance requirements of delivering projects. Knowledge of the principles and practices of contract management, program financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation and administration Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel Sound analytical and negotiation skills How to apply: Please hit ‘apply now’ and submit your most recent resume.
