Click here to learn more about our Network Additional Information: An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.  What you'll be doing Provide administration support for the SCHN Heart Centre for Children, across the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. The Heart Centre for Children is one of the largest sub-specialty teams within the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network and provides cardiac care to children of New South Wales and the surrounding regions at the; Children’s Hospital at Westmead, the Sydney Children’s Hospital, and/or within our outreach centres.   The Heart Centre for Children Administration Officer will provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, families, cardiologists, senior staff and all relevant stakeholders internal and external to cardiac services in all off our clinical locations.  The Administration Officer will deliver high level administration and will be passionate about delivering a great patient and family experience by easing the patient journey within cardiac services. Key duties include being the first point of contact with families and patients, accepting referrals and coordinating all aspects of clinics and appointments, billing, typing of correspondence and providing information to families before during and after appointments across all clinical locations.  The Administration Officer will also participate in projects, including process improvement and service improve activities.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanour Demonstrated experience in administration and customer service. Initiative in improving processes and outcomes for patients/families Ability to remain calm under pressure, particularly during difficult circumstances.
