Come join our high performance Flight Catering team based in Melbourne We have an exciting opportunity available for an Administration Assistant to join our Facilities and Projects team based at Melbourne Airport on a six month contract basis. What does a typical day look like? The Administration Assistant is responsible for the provision of effective and efficient support and coordination to our Projects team. Working with our Facilities Coordinator the role deals with obtaining quotes, booking in maintenance contractors, and invoicing. This is an ideal position for an experienced office support who thrives in a fast paced environment with a variety of technical and administrative skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for: All administrative documents relating to invoicing for maintenance related costs. Liaising with Frontline Managers as well as Head Office to ensure the smooth operation of the Administrative function within the Melbourne unit. Assuring hardware devices are setup accordingly Consistently project a professional, confident, controlled and customer service focused attitude. Communication and coordinating quotes and bookings with third parties Answering phone calls / emails Copying, scanning and filing Data entry and word processing Ensuring that all documentation is filed accurately. Assisting the Facilities Coordinator with ad hoc projects as and when required What do you need to be successful in securing this role? At least 4 years experience in an office administration role is essential Time management and organisational skills. Demonstrated understanding of high level administrative processes Strong verbal and written communication skills Assertive, friendly, and able to build professional relationships with staff members / customers across the company Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office, Excel and Internet search skills Strong customer service.
