You’ll feel a real privilege being a trusted caregiver in our patients, their families, their carers, and our communities’ lives.Where you'll be workingThe role is predominantly based at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH)What you'll be doing The Administrative Officer Level 4 works in an environment with limited direction and will assist the team by providing:• Efficient, accurate and high-level administrative support and secretarial functions to the Hospital In The Home (HITH) Management.• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into Electronic Medical Record (eMR).• Functions as a member of the HITH Administrative Support Team.• Prompt and efficient service to internal and external customers.• Presenting a professional first line contact to all users of the Service.• Processing of service revenue and payments accounts. Leads Information Technology implementation as directed by the HITH Manager• Any other functions as negotiated by, and with, the HITH manager.• Provide relief to Executive Assistant/Administrative Officer Level 5 in absence or periods of leave. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of chargeable patients and the use of private health insurance in a public hospital to generate billing for the service. Demonstrated high level administrative skills with attention to detail in managing complex administrative tasks including management of e-files, correspondence, document tracking and ordering and maintaining office stores. Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated skill in eMR, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and creating and maintaining databases. Experience working in a team environment, under limited supervision and with the ability to prioritise and show initiative. Holds a current NSW Drivers’ Licence Class C.
