About the Role… This is a maximum term casual contract role from 11 March 2024 to 3 April 2024 We are looking for an experienced Administration Assistant with a keen eye for detail, a love for competing project deadlines and outstanding customer service qualities. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Competitions Administration & Systems, you will join a team providing competitions administration services (CAS) for all our 2024 Sydney Royal Easter Show Competitions. You will assist the team in: coordinating and supporting the administration of Competition entries, inspections, judging, results and financial transactions, for the Sydney Royal Easter Show providing administrative support and customer service to Competition Sections and officials, both in the office and on-location checking, validating data and running reports ensuring process manuals, user guides and documentation are followed and kept up to date You will have: Availability over the 12 days of the Show Completion of secondary/tertiary education At least 6 months experience in administration Ability to work under pressure with competing demands An excellent eye for detail and an understanding of the importance of the accuracy of data entry Excellent customer service skills focusing on delivering to client needs Well-developed English verbal and written communication skills Ability to use initiative, be resourceful and think on your feet Approachable, friendly and professional About us… The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) manages the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sydney Royal competitions, the RAS Foundation, Australasian Animal Registry and the Sydney Showground.
