About the role We are looking for a high calibre individual to join our thriving sales team as a Technical Sales Engineer. This position includes an extensive company induction, onboarding and training programme. Technical Sales Engineers are responsible for: Maximising sales within the assigned customer portfolio (and uncovering new customers and opportunities) by executing of our sales growth strategies Developing and maintaining business partnerships with key decision makers whilst creating and executing plans that discover and help drive our customer’s strategic initiatives. Designing solutions that apply value propositions and strategies to further commercialise existing and new products and services. Skills and experience Bachelor’s Degree or trade qualification. Engineering discipline desirable. Strong business and financial acumen with the ability and genuine willingness to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to communicate and negotiate with key decision makers and high-level client personnel. Proven ability to understand technical concepts, engineering processes and to take learning new ideas/concepts in their stride with a proactive approach to problem solving and initiative. Proficiency with MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other business systems.
