The Role To provide the first point of contact for suppliers, administer specific accounting and general office procedures, take telephone sales orders and perform other duties as directed. RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE ALL OR SOME OF Receive and handle supplier enquiries and complaints Answer the telephone, take customer orders and provide price and availability and general information Provide end to end administration support within the operations and customer service departments with a high attention to detail. Use the company ERP and procedures to process all outgoing purchase orders and incoming gooods in an accurate and timely manner Provide information internally &/or externally with regards to supplier order delivery times Place purchase orders with suppliers, following up their receipt, pricing and delivery dates, so that our goods are received in a timely manner and in good order Liaise with customs agent and freight forwarders to ensure timely clearance and delivery of shipments, providing relevant information and paperwork as required Attend training sessions and other company business that may require evening/weekend attendance Follow all necessary instructions to enable the Quality Assurance Program Identify and record any non-conformance Recommend action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformance Advise the Quality Assurance Manager of any issues regarding Quality. Stop despatch of non-conforming products Stop unsafe practices QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Sound computer skills in Microsoft Office Software Experience in providing deliverables and supporting customers an advantage Experience in CRM databases an advantage If you would like more information on this role, please contact Eva Kelly on 0481 167 596 for a confidential discussion.
