Objectives Provide 2nd level technical support, service delivery, technical problem troubleshooting and proactive maintenance of key operating systems, platform systems, and virtualisation systems in the support of business critical applications. Provide expert services in relation to planning, design, testing and implementing server and operating systems across the infrastructure. Configure, unit test, administer and maintain the software and related managed applications. Analyse, recommend, design, implement and manage changes and updates to the software, including major upgrades, security features, patches, and minor version updates, customisations and configurations. Actively participate in the management of all stakeholders, delivery partners and customers to ensure that technical support and issue resolution is provided and high quality customer service is delivered. Actively seek, create and execute opportunities for business process improvements as well as improvements insecurity measures, standards and best practices aimed at enhancing the availability, security and performance of solutions across the systems. Support the delivery of the Bank’s Technology Roadmap and technical projects involving related systems. Plan for system upgrades and implementation of new versions of software and applications. Technical Capabilities Advance training and experience in maintaining web proxies and VPN gateways, particularly Zscaler Zscaler ZIA, ZDX & ZPA deployment focusing on Zscaler zero trust architecture Cisco WiFi 6 wireless deployment including on-prem and cloud WLC deployment. Cisco dot1X and ISE Integration focusing on deploying zero trust enterprise networks. Cisco solutions such as Routing and switching, DNA centre, Cisco ISE and Cisco WLCs. Strong technical skillset relating to the technologies contained within the Connectivity Domain. Strong documentation skill with the ability to produce and maintain high-level and detailed level design documents. High level understanding of Cisco SDA, ASAs and SD-WAN technologies Strong conceptual and strategic thinking, problem solving, technical, and analytical skills. Strong understanding of managing and reducing cyber security risk. Experience with IT frameworks, such as IT service management (ITIL) and project management Qualifications Working towards a bachelor degree in IT, finance, business or other relevant discipline. IT accreditations relevant to position that have been maintained to current levels.
