Senior Program Administrator — Melbourne CBD, Melbourne
Expired

The Oracle Fusion Cloud Program Oracle is one of the core operating systems for Victoria Police and impacts every employee. Oracle is used for the processing, storage and reporting of financial, procurement, purchasing and inventory data. Sworn officers enter time using Oracle's timesheet solution, and most staff would be familiar with the self-service procurement application to order uniform and equipment. Victoria Police is one of the few government agencies that are still operating on the unsupported version of Oracle 11i, which was implemented in 2000 and last upgraded in 2006. This means that Victoria Police has not benefitted from the significant innovation within the financial system software over the past 17 years. Oracle will be upgraded to the latest version of Fusion Cloud to future-proof the financial systems and services. While the current system has adequately met the needs of the organisation, there are many opportunities to streamline and automate day to day processes and optimise services that will better support decision-makers with the information they need, when they need it. Upgrading to the cloud-based system will introduce standardised, best practices that are utilised globally. It will increase efficiencies, reduce administrative burden, deliver robust and predictive analysis and enhanced reporting. Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements. About the role: The Senior Program Administrator is responsible for supporting the delivery of the Oracle Fusion Cloud Program. A background in Oracle is not a pre-requisite for this position, but experience in software implementations and knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) would be advantageous.
