About the Role As an award-winning organisation for Excellence in Indigenous Employment (NESA 2019) Workskil Australia are seeking to commence an Administration Officer - Trainee. We particularly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait candidates to apply. Workskil Australia is offering an exciting career start for an enthusiastic and motivated individuals who would like to complete a Business Administration Traineeship. As a Trainee you will complete a Certificate III over a 18-month period, whilst gaining valuable hands-on industry experience in a supportive environment. This opportunity will be located at our Geraldton site and is being offered on full time, fixed term contract for a period of 18 months. You’ll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9 day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full time employee in addition to the ability to salary sacrifice. Your role will require you to: Undertake volume administration duties in an efficient and effective way; Liaise with external customers confirming employment details; Assist in managing the site diary/calendar; Work with customers to prepare quality resumes and applications for employment opportunities; Perform administrative and reception duties; Support recruitment activities; Ensure accurate data entry into our databases; and Adhere to applicable contractual guidelines. What we’re looking for: Excellent customer service skills; Demonstrated attention to detail; Good basic admin, typing and data entry skills; Excellent time management skills; Demonstrated ability to meet objectives within set timeframes; A strong willingness to learn; and The ability to learn new tasks quickly. Remuneration A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience.
