Period of Appointment Fixed term for 2 (two) years Hours per fortnight 73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available. Duties Undertake a wide range of clerical and administrative duties to support the efficient and effective delivery of services for Abuse in Care and other matters, including: typing correspondence opening and closing files archiving files coordinating video links assisting witnesses to complete witness statements witnessed by Justices of the Peace making medical appointments filling in draft forms (Medicare, Centrelink and others) binding documents Undertake transcription services for Legal Practitioners with a high level of speed and accuracy. Update and maintain the legal practice database, Visual Files, and use database tools to prepare documents. Co-ordinate the briefing of witnesses and their attendance at court. Compile, vet, and file documents such as Court books with the Court and arrange service. Prepare reports on the status of Abuse in Care files. Work collaboratively as part of a team including providing support and guidance to administrative assistant positions. Ensure timely and accurate saving of data. Essential Requirements A Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment).
