For more information, visit; https://datatech.com.au/ About the Role: Reporting directly to the Business Manager, you will be responsible for driving business development, while ensuring business objectives are met. You will be responsible for Key Account Management, establishing strategic relations and new business, focusing on the growing data, communications and networking market. In pursuit of the roles your responsibilities are, but not limited to: Communicate at various levels with our customers face-to-face, via phone and email, building strong relationships with new and existing customers. Provide complete and accurate pricing information. Can prepare large, complex technical quotations quickly and accurately. Prospect and develop your own pipeline of opportunities, working closely with the Business Manager. Manage both the sales and operational duties of the Datatech business based in Alexandria. Engage and negotiate with suppliers, managing sales, orders and inventory. This will initially be a stand-alone role but will rapidly grow into a team based on the success of the incumbent. About You: You are a dynamic and commercially savvy Commercial Sales Manager with proven performance achievements within the data, communications and networking sector - selling the actual hardware such as Copper Cables, Racks, Cabinets, Power UPS, Fibre Cables to name but a few. You are articulate and numerate with excellent communication and presentation skills. You are customer focused and results driven. You have a background in data with a strong existing knowledge base on data products, the system components, and optimisation exercises. You are naturally motivated by building strong relationships and creating partnership opportunities. You have a solid network of industry contacts and a strong track record of solution selling in a B2B environment. You are self-motivated, organised and detail oriented. You have high-level problem solving and negotiation skills. You have a class C Australian drivers' licence. Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen.
