Working at CQUniversity An opportunity has become available for an experienced administrator to join CQUniversity’s School of Trades as the Administration Team Leader. This position leads and coordinates the administration team, ensuring efficient and quality service is provided to students and stakeholders across all University sites. The location of this position is flexible and can be based at our Rockhampton, Mackay, Emerald or Gladstone campuses. You will bring to this role your management experience, time management and problem-solving skills and your ability to organise work and meet deadlines. You have a strong focus on providing quality customer service and the ability to work closely with staff and clients across a broad range of administrative support matters. Intermediate/advanced skills in MS Office Suite. A relevant degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or an associate diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Proven experience in managing staff. Liaising and working closely with staff and clients across a broad range of administrative and executive support matters and attending to difficult, complex and sensitive matters whilst maintaining positive client relationships. Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills that demonstrate a strong focus on the provision of quality customer service. Proven time management and problem-solving skills with demonstrated initiative. Proven ability to organise work autonomously and meet deadlines with minimal supervision, and coordinate projects where required. This position may be required to travel for work purposes.
